Attorneys eligible for membership in the CDLA are those who are in good standing of the Bar of Connecticut actively engaged in the practice of law who individually devote a substantial portion of their time to litigation matters in the defense of damage suits on behalf of individuals, insurance companies and corporations, or who have retired from such practice. By submitting an application for membership the applicant certifies that he or she qualifies for membership under the above criteria.
